We went photographing a wedding for a friend in Philadelphia, and decided to go on a small tour of the city’s attractions. We’ve visited the eastern state penitentiary (ESP), the historical district, the independence hall, and traveled hours to visit Longwood Gardens. Sit back and enjoy a few pix from the trip.
Was invited by friends to their house for some home made beijing style Zhajiang noodle, tasty.
This past Monday was also the Chinese Mid Autumn Festival, where families gather and eat mooncakes. I made my own Suzhou Style Pork Mooncake for the first time, and it was a lot of fun. The ingredients were really simple, but the preparation took long. About 2.5Hr from start to finish.
Will try to make more baked dessert in the near future, it is a lot of fun.

I love Sichuan food, the tongue numbing spiciness is just great, plus they offer a wide variety of sweet desserts to quench your flaming hot mouth.

Chinese Pumpkin Pie
I’m visiting the village of Wuyi, near Chuzhou, Anhui Province. This is the place where my dad was born, I visited here often with my dad when I was little and he was alive.

Tasty food, sugar dipped cherries, orange peel and Apples.
A homeless guy has utilized the abandoned railroad to grow vegetables and setup a tent for himself to live in, he have about 4 cats and 2 dogs.
A friend took me to this restaurant called “大拍档” (Da Pai Dang)， that featured tasty traditional Chinese food and traditional live Chinese music originated in Su Zhou area.
In the upcoming days I will continue to publish some of the images from my 4-month long trip to China earlier this year.
